Clarification Point 19 - Retention Structures (ITA clarification point 3, further clarification)

Clarification Point 3 (Retention Structure) states that "Bidders must complete a separate Net Sales Retention table for each of the four types of game (draw-based games distributed through retailers; draw-based games not distributed through retailers; scratchcards; and interactive instant win games)".

For the avoidance of doubt, this means that Bidders are not permitted to combine two or more of these game types into a single category for the purpose of completing the Net Sales Retention tables. So, for example, a single Net Sales Retention table covering all four types of game would not be permitted.

However, if Bidders believe that there are very strong arguments against this approach, for example a particular reason why it would not be implementable in practice, then they are encouraged to contact the Commission to discuss this further, in accordance with the process described in Section 4.5 of the ITA.
