1. Creating a lottery for the future 30/04/2008

   The National Lottery Commission (NLC) has today published Creating a Lottery for the Future, a transparent report of its competition process to award the third National Lottery licence.

2. NLC Finalises National Lottery Licence with Camelot Group plc 31/08/2007

   The National Lottery Commission has today announced it has finalised terms and signed an Enabling Agreement for the third National Lottery licence with Camelot Group plc. The Commission received two strong Bids from Camelot Group plc and Sugal & Damani UK Ltd which both met the seven Required Standards outlined in the Invitation to Apply.

3. Preferred Bidder announced for third National Lottery Licence 07/08/2007

   After a hard-fought competition, the National Lottery Commission has today announced Camelot Group plc as the Preferred Bidder to operate the third National Lottery Licence. The Commission has also published its Statement of Reasons for the decision.

4. National Lottery Licence competition - Update 11/06/2007

   The National Lottery Commission remains on track to award the licence to run the National Lottery at the end of August. Its own analysis of the bids is proceeding well and in accordance with its plans.

5. Two bids received for third Lottery Licence 09/02/2007

   The National Lottery Commission has received bids from Camelot Group plc and Sugal & Damani UK Limited to operate the third National Lottery licence.
