Statement of Main Principles for the second Licence competition

The National Lottery Commission is beginning the process of selecting the holder of the licence to run the National Lottery for the period after the present operating licence expires in September 2001. By announcing the main principles and timetable of the competition now, the Commission aims to help those who plan to submit bids or who may wish to join with others to do so.
