The randomness of the National Lottery: summary of findings (2002)
The National Lottery Commission commissioned the Royal Statistical Society to, “provide assurance (if justified) of the randomness of the draw results to the end of January 2002”.
The RSS report findings provided the Commission with that assurance concluding:
”Overall, the data in all three games are consistent with all the numbers having the same frequency of being selected, and with there being no association between different draws.”
