This study was commissioned by the Office of the National Lottery. It was designed and executed by Dr. Sue Fisher of the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Plymouth. Data was collected using the Balding Health Related Questionnaire managed from the Schools Health Education Unit within the University of Exeter. The sample of 7,200 12- 15 year olds was drawn from 48 schools situated in 8 different regions of the country.
