Description

A subscription service was not made available for Mid-week Thunderball on launch.

Background

The Section 6 Licence granted to Camelot on 8 August 2002 required it to sell tickets to players for Mid-week Thunderball by subscription. Camelot launched Mid-week Thunderball on 17 October 2002 but did not offer a subscription service.

Regulatory Action

The Commission received several complaints from existing subscribers and investigated the issue. A 21-day letter was sent to Camelot who agreed to the breach, which was recorded on 20 January 2003.

Outcome

Mid-week Thunderball should be available by subscription from September 2003.
