Description

Camelot did not supply game information to the Commission within 24 hours of adding the new game, Cash Machine, to the interactive system.

Background

The Licence requires Camelot to supply game information to the Commission within 24 hours of making the game available to players. The Interactive Instant Win Game, Cash Machine, was added to the Interactive system on Monday 17 November for its first sales on Tuesday 18 November. The Commission did not receive the information required until Thursday 20 November.

Regulatory Action

The Commission investigated the issue and wrote to Camelot. Camelot accepted that the Licence had been breached and a breach was recorded on 30 December.

Outcome

As a result of the breach Camelot has amended its procedures to ensure that the Commission is notified of all future game launches within the specified time limit.
