Ensuring Scratchcard security

We ensure that Camelot has rigorous security arrangements in place for the printing, storage and distribution of National Lottery Scratchcards. We also check that they make sure that their Scratchcard suppliers have appropriate security arrangements in place.

Members of our Compliance team attend warehouse deliveries of Scratchcards to ensure that security standards are being adhered to. The team also checks that Camelot investigates missing or stolen packs of Scratchcards according to approved procedures and that unsold Scratchcards are being destroyed securely.

We also need to be satisfied that there are robust information security policies in place to prevent fraudulent attempts to collect prizes.
