Directions

The Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport issues occasional Directions to the Commission in relation to the exercise of its licensing functions. The Commission must comply with those Directions.

There are presently 13 Directions, which the Commission considers when exercising its licensing functions. These fall into eight different areas:
